A get-together dinner party was arranged for REDA Nigeria Branch. The uniqueness of this party was that all REDA Nigeria team members wore the same “Native Dress” for the event. This native dress is also known as “Aso-ebi” (Aso means Cloth and Ebi means family). In simple words, “Aso Ebi” translates as “Family Cloth”. This word is used to refer to the dress made from matching fabric and pattern worn by family members at a social event to denote unity, support, and represent togetherness as a family. The main purpose of the “Aso-ebi” is a mean of identifying a group of people who belong and stay together as a family.
We are REDA…We are a Family!
